Silk Angel Mobile

Mobiles are widely used in Europe for their charm and stress relieving effect. The gentle, peaceful movement creates a tranquil and soothing environment. Though it will delight young and old, it is particularly suited to comfort infants.

This mobile represents twelve angels, one each for a sign of the zodiac, beginning with Aries (red). The colors reflect the signs according to R. Steiner, the founder of Anthroposophy and Waldorf Schools. The silk is imported from Switzerland where it is plant-dyed and cut in a workshop for the disabled.

Egg-cosy

The base of these whimsical felt sculptures is hollow so that they can be placed over boiled eggs to keep them warm.
